SSR Performance leaves 2024 with its biggest accolades to date as a team, securing the DTM Drivers’ championship with Mirko Bortolotti, as well as winning a race at the Norisring with Nicki Thiim.
The SSR team has now confirmed an early start to the 2025 season, as it will enter a Porsche 992 GT3 R for talented youngster Keanu Al Azhari. The 17-year-old from the United Arab Emirates has already made a mark on the GEDLICH Racing paddock, securing a race victory during a partial 2024 Formula Winter Series campaign.
During the summer of 2024, Al Azhari took the runner-up spot in the Spanish F4 Championship, and also secured multiple race victories in the Prototype Cup Germany. His seat in the latter series, with Mühlner Motorsport, was secured ahead of the final 2024 GEDLICH Racing Winter Series weekend during a shootout contest in Barcelona.
The combination of SSR Performance and Keanu Al Azhari promises to be an extremely competitive addition to the ranks of GT3 Pro, a new class of the GT Winter Series reserved for driver line-ups graded Silver or above.
As with all 2025 GT Winter Series events, round two at Portimão will be broadcast live on YouTube. The second round of the season will be held from 23-26 January.

The team, based in Kamień Śląski, Poland, will enter Porsche 992 GT3 Cup machinery. The team will be looking to continue the form that saw numerous Cup 2 class wins for the likes of Mateusz Lisowski and Hubert Darmetko in 2024.
Darmetko, who went on to achieve great success in Central European GT racing during the summer of 2024, will once again be on the grid for the upcoming season. His starts in the 2024 GT Winter Series marked his first appearances in competitive motorsport, and he was immediately on the pace. Darmetko can be spotted in the #7 black-and-neon-yellow 992 GT3 Cup we all know from last year’s GT Winter Series season. Another driver who impressed under the PTT banner in 2024 – Przemyslaw Bienkowski – is also confirmed to rejoin the GEDLICH Racing paddock in 2025. Bienkowski will be driving the newly wrapped #33 orange-purple 992 GT3 Cup.
PTT Racing will be among a host of returning teams aiming for glory in the 2025 GT Winter Series, alongside a strong group of teams debuting in Europe’s most competitive winter GT contest. The Italian team returns – in part – with a driver line-up that it ran during its partial 2024 campaign; Miloš Pavlović will once again be joined by Alessio Ruffini in one car.
Pavlović, from Serbia, has had a successful racing career over the course of two decades. He was the 2002 Italian F3 Champion, and came third in the 2007 Formula Renault 3.5 Series behind Alvaro Parente and Ben Hanley. He Lamborghini Super Trofeo in 2014, winning the PRO class in the World Final and Super Trofeo Europe. In 2022, Pavlović won the Italian GT Endurance PRO-AM championship.
During the 2024 season, Pavlović partnered up with Alessio Ruffini, who made his racing debut during the GT Winter Series. The pairing scored multiple podiums over the course of three rounds in the GEDLICH paddock, before moving into the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe season. The pairing took fourth in the PRO-AM standings, and then took third in class at the annual World Final.
Meanwhile, the second car features Serbian racer Alex Beatović, who will compete solo at Estoril. For the remainder of the season, his countryman Petar Matić will partner him. Beatović’s previous experience, dating back to 2022, includes campaigns in the Italian Sports Prototype Championship. Meanwhile, Matić was the vice champion in the LC Cup class of the 2024 Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe.
The Auto Sport Racing entries will be top contenders in the Cup 4 class for the Bologna-built single make racers. The GT Winter Series begins on 16-19 January at the Circuito Estoril. Entry is free for spectators, and every race will be streamed live on the Winter Series YouTube channel.

The growing entry list for the event points to a true multi-class spectacle for fans. Teams from across the GT and endurance landscape set to converge upon the Autodromo Internacional do Algarve from 31 January-2 February.
A variety of GT3, GT4 and single-make GT cars will form the grid at Portimão, racing from 11:30AM CET until the early stages of dusk at 17:30.
In the GT3 class, the 6H Portimão will witness a convergence of leading endurance teams from around Europe.
With almost 50 years of history, Konrad Motorsport has achieved great success at the Le Mans 24 Hours, taken class victories at the Daytona 24 Hours, and won the 24 Hours of Bahrain. The team, known today as regulars in Prototype and GT racing including the Nürburgring 24 Hours, will be looking to add more silverware to kick-off 2025. For the 6H Portimão, the team has entered a Lamborghini Huracan GT3 Evo II.
Fellow Nürburgring regulars SR Motorsport will be keen to capitalise on its vast endurance racing experience, as well as plentiful knowledge of its car: the team will enter a familiar steed in the form of the Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo.
More teams familiar to the Nordschleife faithful will also fight in GT3. One of the leading Mercedes-AMG teams at the Nürburgring and across the world, Team GetSpeed will enter another AMG GT3 Evo, and will no doubt be a benchmark for its class rivals.
A battle from British endurance racing will re-ignite at the 6H Portimão. Witt Gamski and his three-time Britcar/British Endurance Championship-winning Team MJC are on the entry list, with Gamski and pro driver Ross Wylie sharing driving duties in a Bentley Continental GT3. Meanwhile, early-2010s Britcar stalwart and sometime Team MJC rival Javier Morcillo brings his E2P team to the grid, entering an Aston Martin Vantage GT3. The Spanish team contested a 24-hour race at Portimão during 2024.
Further entries from Greystone GT (McLaren), AKM Motorsport (Mercedes) and Goodspeed (Mercedes) will also be vying for the overall victory at Portimão, and the grid is still growing!
In the GT4 class, SR Motorsport’s Mercedes will be looking to build upon a race-winning 2024 in GEDLICH’s GT4 Winter Series. While entered into the Club class, the SR Motorsport Porsche Cayman GT4 CS is also likely to battle among the GT4s. The CS-spec car has a smaller engine and owes a little more to its road-going cousins, but it is capable of taking the fight to GT4 machines in the overall order.
Elsewhere in GT4, competition will come from the likes of Jose Garcia and Patrick Kolb, who will enter a Lionspeed GP Porsche Cayman GT4 RS CS. The young team led by Kolb will also enter a Volkswagen Golf GTi into the TCX class.
NM Racing Team will be another force to be reckoned with in the Mercedes end of the GT4 class. The Spanish team has a great record in GT4 competitions domestically and internationally, having fought for championships in the GT4 European Series, GT4 Winter Series and Iberian Supercars. The team has also been victorious in the GT4 class at the Barcelona 24H.
MS Racing will bring a McLaren Artura GT4 into the battle for honours in this class, with Andreas Greiling set to lead the driver line-up. On home turf, Portuguese team Gianfranco Motorsport will be looking for success as they enter a Toyota Supra GT4.
The Cup 2 class for Porsche 992 GT3 Cup machinery has the potential to steal the show. So far, entries have been lodged by a variety of experienced teams, including A-Workx, Wileco Motorsport and Mtech Competition. Meanwhile, GT Winter Series frontrunners, Spanish GT and GT Cup Open Europe champions Racar Motorsport will also look for glory. Leandro Martins will lead the team’s driver line-up, eager to secure Cup 2 honours at one of his home circuits.
Entries in all classes are still open. All entries will run on Pirelli rubber, and GT2, GT3 and GT4 BoP will be provided by SRO Motorsports Group, ensuring competitive parity throughout the 6H Portimão.
The new-for-2025 6H Portimão is an exciting addition to GEDLICH’s Winter Series tour of Iberia, alongside its sister event, the 6H Barcelona. Across a further five weekends, four championships will be contested: the GT Winter Series, GT4 Winter Series, Formula Winter Series and Prototype Winter Series.
During the 6H Portimão weekend, the opening three races of the 2025 Formula Winter Series will also take place, with over 30 young talents looking to make a winning start to the season in Tatuus F4 machinery.
The 6H Portimão event, as well as every moment of the 2025 GEDLICH Racing Winter Series, will be streamed live on the Winter Series YouTube channel. In addition, spectator access to the 6H Portimão is free, making it the perfect way to start the year for endurance racing teams and fans alike!
High Class Racing – which boasts a 35-year history in motorsport – has become a force in prototype and GT racing, securing regular visits to the podium in the Asian Le Mans Series, European Le Mans Series and IMSA Sportscar Championship. Using the Ligier chassis, the team finished third in the 2024 Michelin Le Mans Cup LMP3 class, including a victory for Jens Reno Møller and Tommy Foster at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.
Drivers for the team’s Prototype Winter Series campaign will be announced at a later date.
The second season of the Prototype Winter Series will begin on the 16-19th January, at the Circuito do Estoril, before moving on to Portimão, Aragon and Barcelona. Every race will be streamed live on the Winter Series YouTube channel!

At the third round of the season, DC Motorsport will enter a pair of Ferrari 296 Challenge cars into the Cup 1 class, as well as a Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo Evo II in Cup 4.
The team, as well as company director Ulrik Larsen, have achieved successes in Danish motorsport. In 2023, with Larsen at the wheel of a Lamborghini Super Trofeo, DC Workshop secured the 2023 Danish Special Saloon Car title.
Ulrik Larsen will drive the Lamborghini for DC Motorsport at Valencia, alongside Anders & Jacob Bidstrup in the pair of Ferraris. The brothers made their racing debuts at the 2024 Ferrari Challenge Europe event at Portimão.
The Danish team is the latest championship-winning squad to join the 2025 GT Winter Series grid, which looks set to be one of the most competitive seasons in the history of GEDLICH Racing’s flagship category.

The partnership between Müller and SPS dates back to 2019, and has stretched across several of Europe’s leading international GT series. For over a decade, SPS Automotive Performance has built a reputation as one of the leading Mercedes-AMG teams in GT3 racing. One of many highlights for SPS came in 2022, when the team won the Pro-Am championship in the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup.
In the GT Winter Series, the team will be looking for strong results at Estoril and Portimão, as they kick off the season with a pair of race weekends in Portugal. You can watch along as all rounds of the GT Winter Series take place, streamed live on the Winter Series YouTube channel.

The system, developed by German company SAS Technologies, will be a benefit to the drivers themselves, fans and personnel trackside, as well as viewers watching live via YouTube.
The most externally obvious part of the system is the LUMIRANK three-digit LED display. This eye-catching board is windscreen-mounted, displaying the car’s position as well as a three-letter abbreviation identifying the driver at the wheel. Meanwhile, on the dashboard-mounted driver information display, competitors are alerted to flags being waved around the circuit, as well as the all-important Code 60 periods.
These devices work in conjunction with the timekeeping system, from which they receive communications via the ‘X2 Racelink’ communication device, as well as a small, roof-mounted antenna on the car. X2 Racelink weighs as little as 85 grams, is easy to install, and has supreme durability as it is totally waterproof.
Since its first official use in 2011, the LUMIRANK system has been continuously evolved, simplified and improved, to allow ease of use and clarity for teams and observers alike.
Now a fixture at many major endurance races around the world, SAS Technologies’ LUMIRANK LED display and driver information display is a familiar sight in GT racing. It will be a significant benefit to all as GEDLICH’s 6H races unfold!
The 6H Portimao will take place from the 31 January – 2 February 2025. As the Winter becomes the Spring, endurance teams will once again compete with GEDLICH, at the 6H Barcelona held on 14-16 March.
All of the action will be broadcast live on the Winter Series YouTube channel.

The UK-based team, which celebrates 30 years of racing in 2025, is a leading light in the British GT Championship, single-make GT competition and endurance racing. In 2023, using BMW machinery, the team secured the GT3 and GT4 drivers’ titles in British GT, as well as the GT4 Teams championship.
Century Motorsport’s GT4 Winter Series entry will be driven by a race-winning pairing from the 2024 British GT season, Ravi Ramyead and Charlie Robertson.
Ramyead, 49, has had a short but highly-successful career in motorsport so far, securing the 2022 Ginetta GT Academy Rookie championship, followed by a runners-up finish in the overall 2023 standings in his first season with Century.
Charlie Robertson, at just 27-years-old, is already vastly experienced and decorated, as a champion in Ginetta Juniors and Ginetta GT4 Supercup. He would go on to race and win around the world as a factory Ginetta driver, racing at the Le Mans 24 Hours during his tenure with the British manufacturer.
The 2025 GT4 Winter Series will begin on the 16-19th January at the famed Circuito Estoril. All races will be broadcast live on the Winter Series YouTube channel.
